How Much Does Parking Cost at Bratislava Airport 2026

Airport Parking4 min read

The cost of parking at Bratislava Airport depends on where you park and for how long. The differences are enormous — from €34 per day at P3 to €5 per hour at P1. In this article, you will find current prices for 2026 and specific tips on how to save dozens of euros on parking.

Airport prices — parking lots P1, P2 and P3

P1 — short-term parking

P1 is directly in front of the terminal and is the most expensive. It is intended only for quick drop-off or pick-up of passengers, not for long-term parking.

The first 15 minutes are free, but only once per hour. After that, €5 is charged for each started hour. This means that if you forget your car at P1 and fly away for a week, you will pay an astronomical amount. P1 is simply not designed for that.

P2 — main long-term car park

P2 is the most used car park for passengers. It is located close to the terminal (3–5 minutes on foot), has 670 spaces and operates on a package pricing system based on the number of days.

Number of daysP2 pricePrice per day
1 day€36€36/day
2–3 days€45€15–22/day
4–5 days€59€12–15/day
7 days€89€12.70/day
8 days€99€12.40/day
10 days€119€11.90/day
14 days€159€11.40/day
15 days€169€11.30/day
Each additional day+ €25

P3 — cheaper alternative

P3 is a few euros cheaper than P2, but it is 1.5 km from the terminal. Without a shuttle service, that means a 20-minute walk with luggage.

Number of daysP3 priceSavings vs P2
1 day€34€2
2–3 days€39€6
7 days€79€10
8 days€89€10
14 days€149€10

The savings compared to P2 are a maximum of €10. For that, you trudge for 20 minutes with suitcases. For most travellers, this is not an ideal trade-off.

Prices of external car parks with transfer

External car parks are private parking areas near the airport. You park and a driver takes you by minibus directly to the terminal. The transfer is included in the price.

Prices vary depending on the operator and season. Here is an approximate range for 2026:

Number of daysPrice rangeComparison with P2
7 days€30–65savings €24–59
8 days€36–72savings €27–63
14 days€56–115savings €44–103
21 days€63–150savings €100+
30 days€75–210savings €150+

Lower prices apply for the low season (winter), higher prices for the summer season.

The longer you park, the bigger the difference. For a 14-day holiday in summer, you can save €50–100 compared to P2.

How to save on parking at the airport

Book in advance. Some car parks offer a lower price for online booking compared to paying on-site. You also have the certainty that a space will be available — in summer, P2 fills up.

Compare seasons. External car parks have significant price differences between low and high season. In January, you can pay less than €40 for 8 days; in July, it can be double.

Calculate total costs. If you are considering a taxi or Bolt to the airport, count the trip both ways. At €15–25 per ride, that comes to €30–50 total — which is comparable to external parking, but without the flexibility of your own car.

Check cancellation conditions. Some car parks allow free cancellation at any time, others require cancellation several days in advance. If you are not sure about your dates, choose a car park with flexible cancellation.

Watch out for night surcharges. Some external car parks charge €10 for transfers during night hours (22:00–7:00). If you fly early in the morning or return late, this surcharge can eat into your savings. There are car parks without night surcharges — it is worth asking.

Do not use P1 for more than 15 minutes. It sounds obvious, but losing your parking ticket at P1 costs €200. And every hour over 15 minutes is €5. P1 is exclusively for drop-off and pick-up.

Summary: What is the cheapest

For a quick stop (drop-off/pick-up), P1 is free for up to 15 minutes. For multi-day parking, the cheapest option is an external car park with transfer. P2 is the middle ground — more expensive but without coordination. P3 saves a maximum of €10 compared to P2, but at the cost of a 20-minute walk.
